Today’s society, and specifically global food systems, is faced with the challenge of feeding seven billion people – nine billion by 2050. The Cornell Institute for Food Systems comprises a multidisciplinary group of Faculty Fellows who tackle diverse issues in the food industry to meet this challenge. Bringing together over one hundred Cornell faculty members, including over thirty from the Department of Food Science, the CIFS Faculty Fellows are drawn from the following Cornell departments and units:
